I'm 30 years old. I grew up with dogs and cats in my house, and have never really been without one around me. I've been pet/house sitting for friends and family since I was in my mid teens and have been using Rover off and on for almost 8 years now! I also volunteered at the Boone Humane Society while I was living there, and got some great experience being around different breeds/personalities/and animals with special necessities. I have loved them for as long as I can remember, and they've always been a good grounding center for me. My family and myself have owned several breeds including Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Dobermans, Huskies, and any variety of mixes. My experience administering medication Yes. I've pet sat for a couple of dogs that needed anxiety or allergy medicine 1-2 times a day, and am comfortable with that. If your dog does need a certain type of medicine, I would just want to triple check dosage/how and when they're used to getting it/if there were any reactions I would need to be on the lookout for.
