Pet care experience
I am a part time graduate student in my early 30's looking to spend as much time as possible with animals this summer! I have 15 years of formal and informal experience taking care of bunnies, cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies with varying amounts of training, needs, and temperaments. I grew up with a dog who needed intensive training, currently have two cats, live with and care for my roommate's temperamental cat. I have been entrusted to take care of pets (with extended stays, drop-ins, and walks) for my friends, family, neighbors, and roommates. I am more than willing to play with your dog or cat! I can run play outside with your dog, and I have a car if you’d like me to take your dog on play dates, or to nearby parks and trails. I cant care for a dog that’s over 40lbs and pulls a lot on a leash.
Reviews
Sarah house sat for our two huskies over the weekend and she was great to work with! She was super responsive, helped give medicine to one of them, sent photo updates of how they were doing and from the photos the dogs had a great time and were their normal snuggly, playful selves. We would rebook her again and feel confident leaving our dogs in her care!
Sarah was incredibly flexible and easy to work with! We are so grateful to have had her watch our cat, Sammy, over the holidays and will definitely be asking her to take care of him again in the future.
Sarah was amazing when I had to fly home for a funeral last minute! I highly recommend her!
Sarah responded to a last minute request to stay with our two year old dog Oakley on Thanksgiving day. She was great about keeping him entertained and sent us a photo to keep us updated. I would definitely use Sarah again!

A typical day
I love to play ball, frisbee, fetch or any other activities you think your dog will enjoy! Walking through local trails is my favorite. Happy to hop in the car with your pup and go to nearby park. If your pet is the playful type, I'd love to play with them as well! Will give your pets lots of love and attention and am open to any suggestions for physical and mental stimulation that your animal will benefit from.

Availability
Aside from January and school vacations, For walks and drop-ins I am most available between 3pm- 8pm and 8am - 8pm F-Sun. For house sitting, Aside from January and school vacations, I have an internship M-th 9:30-2:30 (that includes travel time), so your pet would have to be okay being left alone for 5 hours on those days.
