Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover and advocate all my life. I have been caring for animals since I was three years old! Growing up on a farm, I raised and cared for many cats and dogs, as well as a variety of barnyard animals. I have provided pet-care for neighbors and family members for as long as I can remember. I am comfortable working with shy, energetic, anxious, and aggressive pets and I have experience working with animals with special needs. I adore caring for animals—walking, exercising, bathing, feeding, and comforting—it is all a joy!

Sarah took amazing care of our senior dog while we went on vacation. I honestly thought he’d be sad we were back lol. She was so attentive to him and thoughtful about his needs. She also took good care of our home since that is where she watched him. She will forever be our go to adopted pet mom to care for our sweet old man.
Sarah was fantastic with our 2 Senior Boys, Gizmo and Finian!! She was on time, asked questions and sent a ton of updates and pictures!! She was super attentive and was just so awesome!! They both warmed up to her within a few hours and were best friends!! We will definitely have Sarah stay with them again with the ease of knowing they are well taken care of and loved!!

Thank you SO so much for coming this weekend. I was able to put my trust in you with the pups and they instantly were comfortable with you. I appreciate every photo and update. I always treat my Rover buddies as if they were my own pets—I try to maintain their normal routines as best as possible and ALWAYS work hard to make sure they’re comfortable, enriched, and happy! I am able to crate your pets as needed and I am comfortable with all types of feeding, bathing, and exercising pets! I am able to administer medications as needed and I love working with challenging pets. I always strive to go above-and-beyond in my work and I guarantee a loving, safe environment for your pet.

I am unable to have Rover guests in my home at this time. I am able to provide house-sitting services (with or without overnights—owner preference!) anywhere in La Crosse and surrounding towns!
A typical day
I LOVE to take dogs for long walks and “field trips” as is appropriate. Whenever possible, I like to bring dogs to new parks or new areas of town for walks so they can experience new places! If we’re in the house, I love to play games like fetch, find-it, and trick training, as well as, set up fun puzzles and other enrichment for my Rover guests!

**SCHEDULE UPDATE** We are just settling in to new jobs here in La Crosse. :) At this time I am available: -EVENINGS (after 3pm) Mon-Thurs -FULL AVAILABILITY Fri-Sun I work PT in the office and PT at home, so on work days I would only be able from any pets for roughly 6hrs. My husband is available to assist for weekend care. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide services in my current place of residence, but that may change in the future! I’m excited to be able to provide services in the community and can’t wait to meet my new La Crosse furry friends 🐾
