Pet care experience
I am 27 years old, and I am a PhD student at CSU. I have always had dogs and other pets growing up, and I have had various internships and jobs in the wildlife and animal husbandry field. My graduate degree focuses on wildlife research, particularly behavioral ecology of marine mammals. Having worked hands-on with animals as large as elephant seals, I am comfortable with dogs of all types and sizes! I have a skillset in animal behavior and care, and I am highly reliable. Even with the rigor of school, I will always take the time to care for your pet properly as if they were my own. I look forward to working with you and your pets! Sarah was wonderful with our two pups. She was very communicative and provided daily pictures of our dogs, which was greatly appreciated. Plenty of walks! One of our dogs require a daily medication and Sarah didn’t seem to have a problem with that. I’d happily rebook with her again!
Sarah took such good care of Pippa! I got lots of pictures of her playing and going on walks. She seemed very comfortable and happy with her. Will definitely recommend and use Sarah again!

I have owned pets with both crate and no-crate needs and am comfortable with either you prefer. I also understand the importance of not just exercise, but walk/sniffing time. There is a dog park in my apartment complex as well and a lot of safe neighborhood space for walks. I am very adaptable to your pet's needs, and I am comfortable giving medications.

While I am a very relaxed dog owner, the style of the owner who’s dog I am sitting comes first. If you do not allow your dog on furniture, I will treat your dog exactly as you would! I am willing to take on a “challenging” dog, and all breeds and sizes are great! Let me know if your dog has certain needs in terms of medications/foods/walking styles.
A typical day
I am a runner and a hiker. Therefore, I am willing to take energetic dogs on long miles of running or walking if they need it! There is also a dog park at my apartment complex.

Availability
With school, weekends and nights will always be free! Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I can also make time for walks/drop-ins/daycare as needed! Tuesdays and Thursdays are my busiest days with school.
