Pet care experience
Hello! I have had dogs and cats since childhood and also helped my Grandma with her pet sitting business my whole life. She was strictly a live-in sitter, she taught me how to respect a client's home and make sure they have a stress-free time away from home. One thing she would do (I am not this good, unfortunately), she would take a picture of every room in the house so that when she left she could make sure it was back exactly the way it was! I will not do that but I will definitely make sure to clean up and leave the home the way I found it. I can also send you pictures and daily updates to help relieve any worry :) I am a pet owner myself, and only take care of animals the way I would want mine to be taken care of-extra love and attention!. Took such great care of our puppy and the communication was amazing. Lots of photos and made us feel so much better. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would be lucky to have her again.
Sarah did a wonderful job of caring for my 4 cats. When I got home, they seemed as happy as can be expected with me being gone. Sarah apparently established a special rapport with one cat in particular.
Sarah was great! I was able to book her at the last minute when I needed someone for my 3 dogs. After not having very good luck with Rover sitters, Sarah was excellent. One of my dogs has stranger danger and can be difficult, but Sarah put him right at ease, so I knew she was a good fit.

Information Sarah K. would like to know about your pet
I do not have breed preferences, I do not mind dogs jumping up on me or lots of licks. The only things I would like to know are their tendency to have accidents in the house, anything I need to be careful about (leaving out certain items, etc.), health problems, what makes them the happiest. Also, I would like to be aware if they have any anxiety or stress problems. My parents' dog has severe anxiety when anyone leaves the house and has left bruises on my legs from biting. I am willing to work with dogs like this but I would like to be well prepared so everyone has a good experience.
A typical day
We are very active with our dogs. We walk with them in the morning and evening and usually get an additional run in as well. We have a fully fenced in yard with lots of toys , water always available and treats !!

I currently work from home2 days a week. We have a year old coonsky, year old shepherd mix, and 5 cats that we have in house, I will only accept jobs that I can adequately care for. I am also a dog foster with a local rescue; sometimes I may have another dog in the home.
