Pet care experience
Hi There! My name is Sarah Jayne, a yogi and actor based in New York, hoping to care for your furry best friend. I was a sitter on Rover when I lived in Los Angeles, and it truly brightened my days to spend time with pets of all shapes and sizes. I have experience with puppies to older dogs and kitties. I looked after a dear friend’s Shnauzer who had allergies for two weeks, another friend’s kittens, puppy and rabbits while she was away for a week as well as a tea cup yorkie puppy. Additionally, through Rover, I had a great deal of experience with elderly cats. I hope you will consider me when in need of a loving pal for your most precious members of the family!

Very accommodating on short nice
Sarah took excellent care of our cat. He’s on several meds and insulin injections, and I was very nervous about going away. Sarah was responsible, communicative, made sure our cat was fed, medicated, and loved while we were away. She also left our apartment in better shape than she found it. She’s amazing, and we highly recommend her!
Sarah Jayne is a kind, responsible care giver. I have 4 kitties (all rescued from the street) a Guinea Pig, a Daschund, and asenior Shitzu. My fur babies ages range from 3 months to 16 years, so having a truly responsible and compassionate caregiver is essential. I could not recommend her highly enough! They all look forward to seeing her when she comes to my home, and this brings exceptional peace of mind when traveling for business.

I have a vivacious pup named Vivi Rose, and we spend hours a day playing fetch and taking walks. Living in the country provides endless opportunities for fun! Sadly, I am unable to board your pet at this time. Still, I would be delighted to care for them in an environment they will surely love- your home! … I am a very well trained house guest myself!

A typical day
Being an active person, I love going for long walks on a rail trail or hike. A typical day would entail bringing your pet to the nearest favorite Park and strolling (or running together!) along the pathways. If there is a location you prefer I take them to, of course I’m always happy to oblige. After our walk, I’ll give your pup/cat a hearty meal (if on the schedule!) with lots of belly rubs while we compare notes about our day.

Availability
I have open availability for pet care and am currently working part time on weekends, mostly in the evenings. Beyond that, my schedule is extremely flexible.
