Caring Dog Enthusiast

Pet care experience

Hello, we just moved to Colorado from Georgia end of July and are trying to build back up a loyal client base in a new area! I started off doing Rover when I was 16 when my dog was little because I hated the thought of boarding her. Since then, I have had experience working at 2 dog kennels/daycare when we lived in Georgia handling dogs in play packs of 50+ and upwards of 100+ boarding total during holidays. I also worked with a dog walking company around my daycare shifts. As much as I enjoyed that experience, I missed the hands on experience of Rover and 1on1 boarding. We fostered for quite a while in Georgia and with the move out here we’re switching back to dogsitting so I’d love to meet your pup(s) and work on building a clientele back up! We have 3 dogs of our own currently who are well behaved and sweethearts. Our old lady doesn’t come out to meet new dogs as much now that she’s hitting 10 and not as social, but due to Rover and my other experiences she’s gotten to meet so many sweet pups in her life! We love all dogs and our almost 4 year old daughter was very involved in our fostering so she has experience with dogs of all temperaments. She even did exceptionally well with 2 trauma case chihuahuas we had who were not sure about kids! No worries of hair pulling or poor animal manners with the kiddo in our house. It’s something we’ve worked on since she could crawl! You won’t find anyone who loves animals more! Let me know if you have any questions!

Sarah was awesome! Took such great care of our fur babies and kept us updated every day with descriptions of the day and pics of the dogs playing and cuddling. 10/10 would recommend her as a sitter to anybody!

Sarah did a great job and we were so grateful. She sent me pictures along with a daily progress report. I felt a lot better knowing they were getting extra love and attention and exercise while we we gone. I will definitely book Sarah again in the future.

Lucky came back tired and happy. Sarah was great at communicating and dealt we us being away from our dog while we got our home ready to sell. I would highly recommend Sarah and the whole Rover experience.

Very sweet! She was able to fit in our kitty’s on a last minute notice including holidays! Which was so sweet of her to do. She constantly sent me pictures of my babies which helped to put my mind at ease . Leaving your kids behind is never easy, but she just great with them and i could tell they loved her as well! If we ever leave town again and can’t make the trip with our pets, i will most definitely call Sarah ! Thank you again!

Information Sarah J. would like to know about your pet

Anything about your dog that requires special attention or care is very important to know. Special needs pups and dogs requiring medication are fine as long as we know everything we need to. Knowing how often your dog typically goes outside to potty/if they have anyway they let you know is helpful as well. Feeding times/how many times they are fed/how they are fed is also helpful! We would like as much info as possible to make sure the stay goes smoothly and is a great experience not only for the dogs, but everyone involved!

A typical day

My dogs enjoy regular running in the backyard, hikes, and they have their own room set up. However, whatever you prefer for your dog will be respected! We want to make sure you and your dog are as comfortable as possible!
