Extension of our family!
Pet care experience
*Update as of December 2023*: Thank you so much for considering Tony and I. We are currently accepting new clients and bookings starting January 2024. Over the years, we have built relationships with families that have allowed us to be their second family and we strive on providing the upmost best care for 1-2 pups at a time. Please review the information I've provided in my profile and send a message. We'd love to help! -Cheers! Sarah Taking care of dogs is a family event that my husband and I both enjoy doing. We've been caretakers for hundreds of families over the last five years on Rover. My husband and I have a huge heart for animals and I know how difficult it can be to find QUALITY care for your pup while you’re away. Whether your pup is staying with us for an extended period of time, or just for the weekend, we are here to fill that gap and make sure that your extended family member has all the love they need. We only try and host 1-2 pups at a time. We do this to make sure your dog has our 110% love and attention during their stay. Many of our pups are returning clients therefore we are slight more selective, especially with the emergence of the new mysterious respiratory illness affecting pets. We will continue to exercise additional caution to keep your pup to reduce the risk as much possible. Potential New Clients: When taking on a new client, I do REQUIRE a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, both human and dog! Meet and greet's are a great way to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person with how your dog will adjust. I generally pick a neutral location (away from dog parks) and take about 15-20 mins. Drop off/Pick up Times Check-in: After 3-4 PM Check-out: 12pm - (Just like a hotel/airbnb - Pick up after 12PM may be subject to additional 1/2 day rate). Please feel free to message about scheduling flexibility :) for both drop off and pick-up times for any stay. I will always try and be as flexible as I can be. Our pup, Huey, is a well-mannered, chill, lovable giant teddy bear who is a malamute mix. When I was working in office- I often took him to work with me and is the loved office dog. He is really great about knowing when to be playful and when to just give the other pup some space. Huey is now 10 years old. He makes the perfect big brother to any pup especially young pups who need a little bit of help with rules as well as older friends who need a nice quiet place to relax. We've fostered for few local Seattle groups the last 5 years as well and was wonderful foster brother to dogs we've welcomed, all whom have found forever homes!
Reviews
Sarah provided a caring and fun home for our 6 month old pup while we were away for an extended period. She is a gracious host for your pet. Our pup even learned a new trick! And benefited from the company of her dog. We plan on reserving a spot here with our pup again.
Sarah was wonderful and took amazing care of our almost 6 month old lab puppy. Thank you so much!!!

Would love to make sure your pup's rover profile is filled out. Potty trained/Housebroken? Up to date on shots and flea meds? Anxiety or emotional stress? Feeding schedule? Food guarding? Any medications/special needs? Furniture rule?

We only try and host 1-2 pup at a time. We have built great relationships with our current clientele and thus have watched for 3+ years. We generally dont take on more than two clients to make sure your dog has our 110% love and attention during their stay. There are days that there can be overlaps with exisiting stays and bookings, but I do my best to make sure to communicate with you prior. We have a large fenced backyard right off conveniently in Bellevue, right off I-405. For the few hot days we have in Seattle, You won’t need to worry, the house is equipped with AC so the pups are happy laying on the cold hardwood floor. The pups are free to explore and play chase in the gigantic backyard while we are home most of the day. We both have flexible schedules where at least one person is generally home. If we’re both out of the house, it is no more than 1-3 hours to run my errands, go to gym, etc, you know life :D All pups in my care are up-to-date on their vaccinations and currently on some form of flea/tick regime prior to arriving. The pups are free to explore our large back yard, play chase, fetch, etc. The neighborhood we live in has a long loop, you can expect most active dogs to accompany us during our morning and/or evening walks. Nonetheless, your pup will be another extension of our family and we look forward to having your pup. You'll likely get anywhere from 3-5 updates per day, a combination of videos and pictures.
