Pet care experience
I have grown up with a dog along with being the number one contact for friends and family to care for other pets. I have always loved animals and have a lot of knowledge about many different breeds. Being around pets and dogs feels very natural to me and I hope to help some people out along the way!

Sarah is absolutely great with all kinds of animals. From fish to large dogs, she can handle it! Sarah has taken care of my labradoodle in the past who is very high energy; when I can home from work she was tired out and seemed to have had an awesome day. I would absolutely let Sarah take care of my pets again in the future and definitely recommend her care. Sarah is also very easy to communicate with and always very friendly.
Sarah is excellent with our dog (11-year-old Shih Tsu). She loves to spend time with him and nurture him. For instance, Sarah is the one who discovered that something was wrong with Skipper after he had a dental treatment, because she noticed how he was acting. When he got so bad that he wouldn't come out from under the bed, she was able to coax him out and discovered that he had what we thought at the time were hot spots. It turned out that Skipper had serious burns (that occurred at the vet). He was in immense pain and would not eat anything. Sarah was also the one who figured out how to get pills into him by identifying the one food he would eat. Sarah has always cared about animals and would be loving and responsible with other people's dogs.

It is important to me to know who the dog is most comfortable around. For example do they prefer certain genders or ages, or happy around everyone? This is important so both myself and the dog can be comfortable around each other and other people. It is also important for me to understand their schedule and daily habits that might come up throughout my visits.
A typical day
I love taking dogs to new places whether that’s a long walk around the town or exploring somewhere new. I also like to keep the dogs occupied for most of my time with them whether that means going for a walk, playing games, or just petting them. My biggest priority is to keep the pet happy and comfortable when away from the family.

Since being in college I haven’t been able to spend as much time with animals but now that I have the time I can happily care for animals Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday afternoons.
