Sarah was the perfect fit for us. Deacon was immediately drawn to her at the meet and greet. She was great and loving with him. Sarah is bright and personable, very friendly and a great personality. Her love for animals is obvious. I had no doubt Deacon and also my home would be in the very best of care when I left. Although Deacon was happy to see me return, he didn’t want her to leave. This told me he enjoyed their visit and felt secure with Sarah. I will definitely check for Sarah first when I am looking for a pet/house sitter!

I believe exercise is very important when taking care of a dog, and will always make sure to make time to take them on a good walk, instead of just a quick visit outside. Depending on the size of the dog, and it’s exercise needs, I usually go on walks that are 10-30 minutes in length (helps me get in those steps too)! With cats, I am extremely vigilant about scooping their litter, and keeping their bowls filled. As I know many pet owners have specific requests when it comes to the care of their animal, I will always follow those as able, and follow up with any questions. If your dog is young and going through puppy training, I am also more than willing to practice commands with them while you are away.

Availability
I am currently a student at Wake Forest University, but I have a pretty flexible schedule overall. I live in an off campus apartment, and am willing to drive to let your dog out as needed every 3-4 hours. I can only board dogs at my apartment who have been around cats however, as I have a little fur baby of my own!
