Hi! I’m Sarah and I want to help you and your pets keep a normal, stress-free routine when you’re away. I’ve had a dog since the day I was born and I pet-sit regularly for quite a few families. When I’m not pet sitting, I’m probably fostering a shelter pup so I feel 100% confident around most sizes and personalities. Interacting with animals brings me immense joy. I can play, pet, cuddle, walk or do whatever your pup(s) enjoys for hours and hours (see below for a list of activities we might like to do). I do have a full time job but my hours are pretty flexible, meaning I can work a full or half day from home if needed. As a personal rule, I don't like to leave dogs home alone for more than 6-7 hours, especially if they are kenneled, high energy or younger. I live in a house with my husband, who is home nearly full time and has great experience with animals. He’s a great guy who loves to be involved in the care and keeping of our foster pups and furry house guests. We have a fenced back yard and we love taking walks in our quiet neighborhood. We also have our foster fail, Argo! Argo is a well-behaved 4 year old cattle dog/border collie who absolutely adores the company of other dogs and has a gentle play-style but is also respectful of dogs who aren’t interested in play time. I don’t bring the husband or Argo along for house-sitting gigs but if you choose to board with us, they’ll be around to keep your fluffy family member company. If your dog isn’t keen on other dogs, no worries, we are willing and able to keep everyone separate.
