Pet care experience
I have had dogs all my life. I also have experience working in a veterinarian's office and I can administer medications if need be. I want to be a dog sitter because I have the time to do so and it is something I love to do. I would want your pet's routine to be as close as it can be to what he or she does at home, so they will be as comfortable as possible. I will go over that with you and do my best to follow that plan. I currently work a 40 hour week however, I am still able to let them go to the bathroom and your pets would get tons of cuddle and play time when I am home. Other people in my home include my roommate and her two daughters are here every other week. All of them love animals. Dogs in particular. I have two dogs, one is just a puppy. I also have two cats. If your pet does not get along with cats it is ok because they usually stay in the garage or a bedroom. It is also ok if your dog/s do not get along with other dogs since arrangements can be made for my dogs to stay in the garage or yard if the stay is not for more than a few days. I will also watch any animals you have as I have experience with most.

My Standard Poodle, Rosie, recently stayed with Sarah nearly 3 weeks, while I was on a trip to the Georgian Republic. This was her 3rd (maybe 4th?) stay with Sarah. They seem very compatible, which makes me very comfortable with the arrangement. It's also helpful that Sarah lives fairly close to where I live, so it's easy to get Rosie to her place.
From what I've been told, yesterday evening, when you were leaving the dog park where you brought Rosie to meet Donna who brought her to me at the airport, Rosie tried to follow you to the gate. That speaks well for your relationship with Rosie. Rosie, was, of course, eager to see me, and we had a good cuddle time in Donna's car at the airport before she could even drive away. Thank you so much for meeting Donna at the dog park. It helped a great deal to have Rosie with me as soon as that, and saved me some time--late at night!--once I was back home. Donna said you had been suffering from migraine headaches. My sympathies! Not fun! My mother used to have them on a regular basis, and she was out of commission for about a day or so with each bout of headaches. I will talk with you at a later date about more dog-sitting, but for now, Rosie can relax in the comfort of her own home. Thanks so much for your care. And thanks for pointing out the soft cyst behind Rosie's right front leg. I had not noticed that, so I'll stay on the alert.
This one-night stay--the third time Sarah has hosted Rosie--came up quickly with only a few days' notice. I was delighted that Sarah could accommodate this request. We were able to arrange for Rosie's drop-off and pick-up to suit both of our schedules, which got a bit dicey....but we did it. Thank you, Sarah, for your help.
