Pet care experience
I grew up on a cattle ranch and have always been around animals, including cats and dogs. Many friends and neighbors have asked me to care for their furry friends while they were away. I volunteer at the local animal shelter and was a camp counselor there where I interacted with the animals on a daily basis. Additionally, I have worked at an animal hospital where I gained basic medical knowledge.

Our kitties greatly appreciated Sarah dropping in to feed and play with them while we were away!
Sarah was a great sitter for our two cats. She was very consistent with a schedule of twice-a-day drop-in visits and sent updates and photos. We were very happy to get her updates and had peace of mind that the cats were in good hands!
Sarah did a great job! So nice to have someone you can rely on. Even our elusive Jasper cat really liked Sarah!

A typical day
I love introducing dogs to new stimuli and experiences. I enjoy spending time at dog parks and going on moderate hikes to provide exercise and entertainment. One of my favorite places to take dogs is to Peet's Hill where there is plenty of room to play!

Availability
I am a full-time student with a part-time job. Though I am busy, I consider spending time with animals to be a stress relief. I am available for overnight care on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, as well as an occasional weekday night. I am available all day on Saturdays, as well as the mornings and evenings of Sundays and Thursdays.
