Pet care experience
I have been a pet sitter since I was 10, but I am now an official veterinary nurse student with interest in going to vet school. I have worked with large animals, small animals, and exotics and their critical care are extremely important to me. I have experience pet sitting, dog-walking, and house sitting in my local neighborhood, and I am skilled in basic and advanced home pet care!

Sarah is responsible, and great with pets. She feeds, waters, watches, plays with, and walks our pets. It's a comfort to know she is getting her veterinary nurse certificate, and is CPR certified.

At the client’s home I am always aware of the home environment and ensuring that gates, doors and windows are secure. I also ensure that there is always an access to water and that feeding times and amounts are appropriate for the animal. When brining dogs outside I always make sure their leashes are secure and that they have plenty of time to be outside and do their business. For cats, I always ensure the litter boxes are cleaned and fresh, and that there is ample stimulation for the cats through toys and other fun activities for the cats. As always, I give lots of loves and cuddles to all animals!

Please let me know if there are any medical accommodations that I need to be prepared for ahead of time! I am comfortable with anything your pet may need! If your dog has especially time-critical care needs I would liked to be let know in advance so that your pet has the best possible care and attention while I am watching them!
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs mentally and physically! Taking different routes on walks keeps dogs interested in the environment, and playing in yards with new toys is always so fun! I always make sure cats have lots of fun too playing with toys and lasers!

Availability
I currently work full time at a large specialty and emergency center, so I am mostly available on weekends and at nights, but I can make the time! I work Tuesday through Friday 8am-6pm. I can be flexible in my schedule though for other needs, so I can work or come over on nights and mornings before work on days that I am working.
