Animals have always been a central part of my life. I connect with dogs easily and enjoy giving them my full attention and care. I’ve been caring for pets on and off for 13 years and am adaptable to the individual animal’s needs. They come first! For example, I currently care for a dog who is blind, and she has taught me a lot about observing the space and being clear in how I communicate with her. I am mindful about the animal’s ability to interact and engage (or not) with other animals or people along the way. I also carry extra doggie bags with me on walks to respect the community and am comfortable administering medications as needed. I am very open with communication and responsive to calls and texts. I lead an active life and would love to spend time with your animal in the process!

Sarah is wonderful with my furry darling! She treats Olive with the utmost love and kindness. She is attentive to Olive's needs and can adapt fluidly to any situation. Olive is a 70lb pit bull with no shortage of enthusiasm or matching strength on the leash. Sarah can keep Olive on a steady path and have a wonderful walk together. I trust Sarah's intuition and judgement when it comes to my fur baby and would highly recommend her to anyone!
Sarah is a kind, caring, and incredible person. Sarah and I were roommates during college and I can personally attest to her love and care towards dogs as I lived with both her and her corgi, Rufio. She has grown up her entire life with dogs and I couldn't think of a person better suited to being a dog sitter on Rover.com. If we lived in the same city, she would be the first person I would call to take care of my dogs.
Sarah H. is Marbell and Torridon’s favorite human. The instant she walks in the door it is all tail wags and face licks. Marbell is an adventurous blind dog and Torridon has super high energy that sometimes comes across as anxiety. Sarah H. inherently understands their special needs and makes them both feel safe, loved, and happy. She is always timely, respectful, reliable, caring, and kind to the pups and their humans alike. Sarah H. is the most trustworthy person I have ever commissioned to watch over/walk/play with my furbabies and I couldn’t give you a better recommendation.
Sarah H. has the nickname "dog whisperer" in our home. She has great compassion and is very loving to our pup. She takes the time to exercise Rufio and has a very patient loving nature that puts him at ease. Sarah is very responsible, it is a blessing to know our corgi is well taken care of.
