Pet care experience
My name is Sarah and I live in Barrhaven with my husband and 2 grown up children. My family and I love all animals and are thrilled to share our lives with 3 loving cats and a sweet tempered Maltese dog. Our animals are an integral members of the family and are cared for with the same love and kindness that we show each other. I believe that all animals deserve to be treated with respect and dignity and their needs must come before our own. The well being and safety of all animals in my care is my top priority. Additionally, I feel exceptionally fortunate that my 25 year old daughter is a Veterinary Technician with a wealth of knowledge to share with others. Sam and I work as a team for Rover providing meticulous service at all times of the day. As an experienced Vet Tech, Sam is used to performing medical a tasks such as changing bandages, grooming, first aid and giving medication.

Sarah was excellent and we would not hesitate to have her take care of our dog, Maggie, again in the future. In fact, she’d be our preferred choice. She took great care of her, played with her, arrived promptly, sent us lots of photos of them enjoying the sunshine together, and asked questions as she needed to ensure Maggie had the best and safest experience. If you need a sitter, Sarah is a wonderful choice! We feel so lucky to have found her!
Sarah watched my dog for a full daycare and was wonderful. I knew I could trust her to care for, love and spoil my Kava as much as I do. She already has 4 pets at home so she clearly has the love and experience in her. Throughout the day she sent me messages and photo updates as I requested, so I could see my girlie having fun and playing with Sara's dog. Her house was very clean, perfect for my all-devouring half beagle, and a very spacious and securely fenced yard. Everything was perfect with cherries on top, like small details of allowing Kava off leash in her house during the initial meet-and-greet to sniff around, picking Kava up when we returned to pick her up to make sure she won't run off, and the way my dog interacted with her after the day showed me they had bonded. I'm sure Kava would be ecstatic to spend time with Sarah again.
Sarah is a huge dog lover and would do anything for her sweet little Chester, or any other dog. She is caring, kind, thoughtful, empathetic, reliable, and responsible. She would be a great caregiver and dog walker to anyone’s special furry friend. Rest assured that she would take the best care of your four-footed friends. Joanna Harvey
