Pet care experience
Working professional with two 1 and 7 year old rescues and two cats. All extremely friendly and playful. I have a Bachelors in animal science from University of Connecticut with >20 years experience with animal care, and 10+ years paid experience as a dog sitter/walker and equestrian center manager. I am an animal shelter volunteer/foster home with dog handling training. Boarded dogs will be cared for with the same love as my three pets. Unless otherwise instructed by the owner, pets will have free range of our home while I am home, and fenced onto the main floor when I am out of the house. I do also have an extra large dog crate that can be set up if your pup is used to being crated. Boarded dogs must be friendly with other animals, house trained, non-destructive and up to date on flea treatment and vaccines. I require proof of recent flea treatment or negative flea comb via photograph/video prior to accepting a booking. Please note: I do NOT accept boarders who are not house trained. There is an additional $50 charge per stay if a boarded dog has more than one accident in the house (yes, accidents happen). Please communicate usual potty schedule and any particular habits your dog has with me prior to confirming a booking. If you are unsure if your pet can meet this requirement, I would recommend finding a sitter who can accommodate your dogs needs better. I do work part time in the office (3 days per week), so dogs will have a 8 hour period alone on those days. Weekends I am home and around the house. We have a large 5’ fenced backyard, but regular leased walks will be provided throughout the day for exercise. We can visit various local parks on the weekend with my dogs for new adventures. I have experience administering oral and injectable medication and subcutaneous IV fluids. Boarded pets will be cared for on the same schedule as my three pets. We go for an hour long walk in the morning, after breakfast, then have a last potty break in the yard before work. I am returning to work in the office 3-days per week effective July 2021. On those days animals will be home alone for 8 hours. There are security cameras throughout the house which I regularly check to ensure boarders are comfortable in my absence. We then usually go for another walk after dinner, heat dependent, and have regular yard breaks until bedtime. Boarded pets are allowed to sleep where they choose (their bed, one of our pet beds, floor, or my bed). Bentley and Finn, my dogs, are my dog sitter assistants. They are the perfect combination of fun and playful (Finn) and chill and cuddly (Bentley). Our yard is fully fenced and dogs are never outside without me with them.
Reviews
Sarah was an AMAZING sitter! She was very prompt with her communication, took great care of our Cocker and sent us daily updates with photos and videos. This was our first time boarding our pup in the sitter's house and I think we hit the jackpot with Sarah! We would definitely call on her to watch our pup again and highly recommend Sarah! Thank you!
Sarah was awesome and took great care of our pup! She sent lots of pictures, kept us updated daily and made it an overall great and comfortable experience. We definitely recommend!!

We have about 10000 sq ft of fenced yard for off leash play. The house is a two story mix of hardwood and carpet, in the Creekwood neighborhood. Our streets are double wide and very walking friendly. For cat boarders, depending on the length of stay, your buddy will have a private room with stacked baby gates to allow for safe socialization. For extended stays, slow introduction to the household my be considered at owner request and pet temperament. We have an array of bowls, beds, treats and toys. Please bring your pets food, medication, collar/harness, leash and any specific items they need outside of what’s listed above.
