Pet care experience
Since I started fostering animals in 2013, I have fostered 87 dogs/puppies and cared for over 100. My focus has always been our harder to adopt dogs, so have a lot of experience with shy and reactive dogs. I have a degree in Biology and started out as pre-vet in college, so am pretty competent with basic medical needs. I found my own dog abandoned after being hit by a car and nursed her back to health. I certainly haven't seen it all, but I've seen a lot!

Since she was still in high school, Sarah has volunteered with my non-profit, Blackhat Humane Society. We foster and adopt out street dogs from the Navajo Nation. Sarah has fostered at least 50 dogs. She is good at addressing problem behaviors and nursing them through health problems. She would be a great Rover.

I can get your pup or pups out for 2-3 walks per day depending on what they need, and take care of anything else you need at the house! I try to keep pets on their usual walking/feeding schedule and give them some extra love while their human is away!

A typical day
Get out for a good morning walk or run, potty break around lunch time, do some tricks for treats, another good walk before dinner. Usually some play time in there if they like playing with toys.

Availability
I work 8-4 in town during the week but am around most weekends and evenings, and on school breaks. I typically get out for runs several times a week so if you have an active dog who needs a little exercise I can help with that!
