Professional belly rub giver

Pet care experience

I grew up with dogs so it's hard to remember a time when I wasn't taking care of one! Aside from my family's dogs, I've also done lots of pet sitting for friends and neighbors since I was a teenager. I only accept one dog in my home at a time and I'm very attentive and generous with belly rubs and ear scratches! I can go on long walks/runs and I have a pretty great arm so I'm always down for some fetch with the high energy pups! (I'm also totally on board with napping all day if that's more your dog's style.) I work from home so I'm available 'round the clock for all your pup's needs. My House: I live with my boyfriend Robbie and our rabbit Benny in a spacious home in a very quiet neighborhood. Benny the bunny is very spoiled and has his own room in the basement where he is closed off from the rest of the house while we have other furry guests. He (perhaps naively) doesn’t seem to be afraid of dogs at all, but he is a prey animal and we don’t take any chances. Your dog will not have any interaction with him. We have a large backyard, although it is not fenced so any yard playtime will be on a leash. Our house has hardwood flooring throughout, which I figured I would mention since some pups hate slidin’ around!

My pup loves to go to Sarah’s house. She works from home, so he gets plenty of attention.

Wonderful job! Great communication, she went above and beyond to accommodate us while we travelled internationally. We will definitely invite her back!!

Sarah was great with my four-month-old pup. Would definitely recommend.

Sarah was very polite and well spoken. She clearly communicated her availability and coordinated the drop off and pick up times. She took excellent care of our little puppy. We have only had her a few days now and a bit worried about leaving her. Sarah was very kind and took such good care of our Kayla! She should be commended and I would certainly recommend her for anyone interested in in-home care.

Information Sarah G. would like to know about your pet

I would love to know as much as possible about your dog so that I can provide the best experience possible. The more info you provide, the better I can cater to your pup. How active are they? How often do they like to go for walks and how far can they go? How often do they need a potty break? Are there any behaviors I should look out for, whether they’re good ones to be rewarded or not-so-good ones that should be discouraged? Do they have separation anxiety? Are they stubborn about certain things? How do you motivate your dog (e.g. are they food motivated)? What kinds of trouble do they like to get into? Are there certain things they like to chew on? Are they escape artists who’ll try to bolt any time the door opens? Are they friendly toward other dogs and strangers? As a rule, I like to avoid meetings with strange dogs and people for the safety of all involved, but still would like to know how your pup reacts to others while out on walks or if you request we go to dog parks. How long can they be left alone during boarding? I am home nearly 24/7, but pop out for the occasional errand. If you are unsure how your dog will behave if left alone, I will ask that you bring his or her crate. Are there any house rules to be maintained while they stay with me? I don't have any breed preferences, but please no aggressive dogs. :)

A typical day

I will tailor our days based on your dog's preferences. Does your pup like to walk and be outside? We'll go all over the neighborhood! Do they need to play a rousing game of fetch to tire them out and ward off the crazies? We'll take a drive to the dog park so they can run around as much as their heart desires! If they prefer to snooze most of the day, I can provide plenty of comfy spots for naps.
