Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover since I was very little. I’ve been the owner of almost every type of animal and reptile myself over the years and truly enjoy looking after pet pals when their owners need support. I was a dog walker in college and have done long term care for friends homes and their pets while gone on month long trips. I’ve even administered medication if needed.

Sarah is an extremely responsible and caring pet owner herself and I completely trust her with the care of my own animals over the years. I know she has had many of her own dogs and cats over the years so her level of comfort with pets is very high. My own pet is very high maintenance and she one of the only people I trust to care for him when I go out or town. I was recently in the hospital unexpectedly and she jumped right in to provide care for my pet - which provided a huge relief to me and my family.

I’m in a condo on the second floor with a fenced in patio. I’m in a very walkable neighborhood with lots of dogs and our cat is primarily outside during the day.

I think safety is the biggest thing. If we are going out on a walk, ideally just knowing are they good to engage other dogs, scooters/bikes, kids etc so that I can be prepared either way. Are they food motivated or respond well to verbal commands, whatever can help make the relationship easier at the beginning is great knowledge.
A typical day
I like to follow the dog’s lead; whether that’s engaging in games, fetch or tug of war, exploring and sniffing the plants on a walk or snuggling and getting some good cuddles.

Availability
I currently work from home at least 3 days a week (9-5) and am available to either take your pets in so they have a buddy and some regular walks or even work from your home if they prefer not to be moved!
