I grew up with dogs - Labrador retrievers - and began having my own puppy chores at the age of 2 years old! I have one dog currently, Eva. She is an almost 9 year old American Eskimo I rescued when she was 6 weeks old and the soul survivor of her litter. She’s been my right had gal since that moment. We moved to Baltimore, MD from the Low Country recently. We used to be easily found paddle boarding together on Shem Creek (she has her own life vest and sits on the front of the board). Being a water lover, trips to the beach early morning were one of our favorite things. Hampton Park was a great area to run around and see all the ducks swimming. Now we are big time runners and love to visit the dog park near our place. Eva runs about 5 miles total a day with me. If your dog needs exercise, I’m your girl. I also have experience with senior dogs and animals with special needs. My family dog, Warrior, was a lab who saw the age of 16! We used a combination of a beach towel and luggage strap to walk beside and assist him when his hips gave out at the end. We are also known to be lazy and lounge around together. Cuddling is our favorite! Eva can be found at the foot of the bed gnawing on a dental bone or deer antler. My schedule is flexible since I’m new to the area.
