Hello pet parents! I'm Sarah and I've been professionally working with pets for 14 years both in commercial settings and then running my own business in Marietta Georgia. I've been bringing home pets since I could walk much to the dismay of my poor parents. Everything from lizards & rats to stray cats & dogs, plenty of fish - including a large saltwater aquarium in high school. I always knew I wanted to work with animals but after working as a vet tech and volunteering at the local animal control the death aspect was just too much. So I started working at kennels and worked my way up to manager positions. After years of see what worked and what didn't I knew I could do this on my own and do it better - so that's what I've been doing ever since! I ran a successful in-home boarding and daycare in Marietta for 7 years before moving down here to Fayetteville Ga. Over that time many of my clients became friends as I cared for their pets on a weekly basis. Some guests stayed for months at a time due to their owners being in the service or relocating overseas. Some were at my home more than theirs due to parents working schedule as pilots or having to travel every week for work. We were these pups second family, their home away from home. Yet there were some pets that just did better in their own settings. Not all dogs like being around other dogs, cats or children. Many pets have to be in their own homes to be happy! As I'm starting back out as a pet sitter in our new community I'm offering both pet sitting in your home as well as offering two spots for overnight dog boarding in my own home.
