Doodles make the best Dogsitters!

Pet care experience

Nervous to leave your “baby” with someone new for the first time? I was. Have high expectations since you are paying someone rather than leaving your dog in a crate or in your own backyard? I did. Rover dog sitters put my mind at ease by answering all my questions, sending me photos of my girl having a blast, having detailed reviews of other’s positive experiences, and she was safe, happy, and fell asleep in the backseat before we even left the driveway when I picked her up. That is the experience Khaleesi and I will create for you too! We will return your furry family member safe, well-loved, and exhausted. Khaleesi (1.5 y/o Goldendoodle) loves to play, and has been well socialized since her puppy playgroup at 8 weeks old. I have been a dog owner my whole life, living with my four-legged companions in apartments for the last 10 years, and have gone through dog training with Khaleesi as a part of her becoming a therapy dog which allows me to better read your dog and meet their changing needs. WHAT TO EXPECT: On weekends/weekday mornings you can expect endless play in a dog friendly home, with regular bathroom breaks and a full bowl of water. This playtime will be individualized for your dog, as we only host one playmate at a time! The dogs can be seperated, crated, or have free reign to wrestle with supervision—dogs will be coached not to pin, go over the neck, pull or grab each other with their teeth. They will be separated temporarily if either dog gets too rough in their excitement, or if one shows the need for a break. Introductions will be made outside and the dogs will enter our home together. Meet & Greets ahead of time are welcome so you feel comfortable with compatibility. Due to safety concerns I will not take your dog to the dog park, but there is a local fully fenced soccer field, usually empty, where the dogs can run and fetch together. The dogs will be separated in the front and back seats during the 5 minute ride to the soccer field. Food will be given separately at meal times and not left out in between. Toys will be given only when separated or crated, to remove the potential for aggression. Dogs will be taken on leash to go potty individually to provide increased security and minimal distractions. If your dog prefers solitary snuggles and playtime, Khaleesi can be crated or confined to another room so your canine family member can get one-on-one attention. We welcome your dog into our home overnight where they can sleep either on the bed or in a spacious crate, depending on your preference. If you would like your furry family member to sleep in their own home, Khaleesi and I are good houseguests, and will maintain your pets routine in your absence. Khaleesi is a therapy dog and accompanies me to work daily, so she will never be left in your home unattended. Message me anytime with any questions or requests! *Shot records, social history, and any specific instructions will be discussed at the time of booking.

Sarah was terrific - lots of updates on how Sam was doing. He seemed to get along great with her dog, Khaleesi, and was treated like a king with lots of ball chasing, snuggles, and visits from other humans. Highly recommended.

Sarah was absolutely amazing. She took care of Jango like he was her own. She kept me updated with how he was doing and sent plenty of pictures of him having a great time with her and her dog. I will definitely be using her services whenever I need to travel. Thank you, Sarah!

Sarah would be an excellent dog sitter for anyone's furbaby!! Her dog Khaleesi is a great companion as well. Khaleesi is even tempered, adapts to playing in other dogs homes, walks away from altercations, and enjoys playing with multiple dogs at a time!! Sarah is the ultimate dog lover and treats my dogs/furbabies like her own. I highly recommend Sarah and Khaleesi as playmates for your dog/dogs...mine adore her and I promise they will not disappoint!!!
