Different Paws- All Are Welcome
Pet care experience
ALL DOGS ARE WELCOME INTO OUR HOME. We do not discriminate against any breed or dog size--we genuinely love them all! As long as they are not aggressive towards other humans and animals, your dog can definitely stay with us. ***UPDATE November 2021: Greetings! Akira and I are currently in Kissimmee, Florida taking requests! Super excited to meet the furbabies from down south!! Also, I will not be in the office until January 2022, so will be home all day watching your furbaby. ABOUT ME: I have been caring for animals all my life; being around animals is truly my life purpose. Our family dog growing up was a German Shepherd, who we loved and cared for so deeply. In my adult life, I took in a Japanese Akita (named Akito, 135 lbs!), who absolutely stole my heart. He passed away recently, with age and diabetes playing a major role. Ever since, I've had an even deeper desire to surround myself with animals. Eventually, I plan to own a "farm" of some sort, where all kinds of animals can be saved, protected, and adopted into wonderful and loving homes. RECENT EVENTS: As of recently, I've adopted a beauty whom I named Akira, in honor of her "brother," Akito. She is the friendliest dog I have ever met-- a trait Husky's are renowned for. She is always looking for someone to play with, so I figured it would be great for her to have a playmate every now and then. She is a puppy (3yrs.) with sooo much energy, but also very calm when she is indoors. Almost too good to be true.
Reviews
Sarah was so awesome with my Nena & my furry baby really enjoyed her stay. Nena was so spoiled & so well taken care of by Sarah. She is a blessing in disguise & really loves these dogs, that just want her attention. Sarah sent us so many daily updates by text, pictures & videos which we appreciated them so very much, it felt like we had Nena with us. Sarah was an excellent choice and we will definately be using her services again. We will also be recommending her to family & friends. We thank her so much for caring & spoiling our Nena, which we love so much!!!
Caring, loving and responsible. Sarah goes the extra mile to make sure that Maude is able to enjoy her stay and that i’m able to relax while i’m away. There was not a day when I couldn’t reach out to her or get those much needed photo updates of Maude. And to top it all off, Akita is great company to Maude. I love the fact that Maude gets to hang out with a friend while I’m away. I would book Sarah again for future vacations!
Sarah was so kind to me and it was very obvious how much she loves dogs! She constantly kept me updated about what was going on with Blu and I know Blu is going to miss her. I will definitely ask her to help us in the future!
Finn seemed to have an amazing time with Sarah and Akira. Finn instantly felt comfortable in her home and loved that he had so much space to explore. Sarah kept me up to date on how he was doing and sent me great pictures of the pups playing. Thank you for taking such good care of him Sarah!

Safety of our pets is important, please discuss any concerns you have during the Meet and Greet. I will never let your dog loose while walking it, and will never leave the dogs alone with each other. One important concern that must be discussed: I've recently learned about the poisonous Cane toads of Florida, so I am EXTRA careful when walking the dogs. Is your dog the type to "hunt" after things? We need to discuss a safety plan with regards to this.

Information Sarah G. would like to know about your pet
No breed preferences whatsoever. My main concern is whether or not your dog is aggressive towards humans and/or other dogs. Does she have any MAJOR territorial issues, especially with food, or particular toys? I will never feed dogs together, unless they are siblings and they are trained to eat together. -Who is an emergency contact I can reach in case you are unavailable? Any concerns or issues I should be aware of? -Is your dog house-broken? Does she use "Wee Wee pads"? - Is your dog spayed/neutered? - Does she have updated vaccinations? -Does she bark frequently? If so, what methods do you use to calm her? -Is she a Senior dog with any issues? -Any special needs? -Allergies? -Does she have any excitement urination issues (if so please bring some disposable diapers for her). -What are some of your dog's behavior quirks? Anything in particular I should know? -Does your dog like to chew on wires, shoes, or anything around the house? Does it climb things, such as kitchen counter? -Is she allowed on furniture? -Any special tricks or training you'd like me to reinforce with your pet? -What methods do you use to reward behavior? -What methods do you use to CORRECT behavior? - What is your dog's feeding and walking routine? I expect for you to bring your dog's own food and leash; as well as any other necessary things your dog might need. I also expect for us to discuss feeding and walking routine, along with a safety plan and all the questions listed above. Also, I have a crate, so if you prefer for me to keep your pet in the crate while I am at work, or for whatever reason, please advise so that we can accommodate.
A typical day
I typically walk Akira in the morning, afternoon, and evening. There is also a small dog park nearby so that the dogs can socialize and run around. This schedule will apply to your dog as well, or can be adjusted for your pet's needs (if feasible). *Please be advised that during really cold or really hot days, the walks won't be as long as usual.
