After being the number one dog sitter for friends for years I finally got my own pup, Artichoke, in Oct 2021. We both like to go on long walks, muddy adventures at Pacific Spirit, and hikes on the North Shore. We play all day and cuddle at night. I work from home so I almost never leave dogs alone for more than 2-4 hours. I try to bring Arty and any dogs in my care with me when possible. Arty is a very social dog and has the most fun when we have another dog around, for walks or overnight. But at this point I can’t care for two dogs permanently, enter Rover. Im experienced with dogs of all sizes, but for obvious reasons they have to be good with other dogs and neutered (if male). A little bit about my experience: Within the last 3 years I watched a 1.5 year old St. Bernese for 7 months, Doodle and Aussie/Collie siblings, an Australian Shepherd puppy, and a King Cocker Spaniel puppy. I loved it so much I got a pup of my own, prior to dog sitting I also grew up with dogs and I am comfortable with puppies, seniors and dogs with medical needs.
