Pet care experience
I have been working with pets for over 10 years! I started volunteering with a rescue in 2013, where my love for pets began! Since, I have become a foster parent of over 85 dogs & cats, foster program director, and a member of the executive board of directors. I have experience working at a dog boarding kennel as well as working under a certified dog trainer. I have experience fostering different breeds of dogs & cats from all walks of life (puppies/kittens, seniors, high energy breeds, dogs/cats with behavioral issues and medical & physical disabilities). I’m an animal lover with a lot of experience and would love to help care for your pet while you’re away!

I couldn't recommend Sarah more to care for your furry family member! Sarah has been a caretaker for years for my dog, and she does an impeccable job. I think my dog is more excited to see her than me! She makes sure that my dog is well exercised both through walks and activites, and doesn't deviate from the instructions I have given because my dog has a strict feeding regmine. Sarah also has years of experience in dog care and trainings. She spent 7 years helping to run and manage a dog rescue, which entailed learning how to care for each breed. She is caring, responsible, punctual, and loving. She would be a great fit to care for your pet while you are out of town!
Sarah is a phenomenal pet caretaker. I worked with Sarah up until roughly 5 years ago at an animal rescue and a dog kennel for boarded animals. She has also fostered multiple animals in addition to caring for her own pets, so she has no lack of experience.
I’ve known Sarah for over 10 years and she’s watched multiple of my pets for me over the years. She’s knowledgeable and caring, quite possibly one of the best people you could hire to take care of your pets. She takes the time to get to know your pets and will spend time taking care of them, she’s not gonna rush dogs on their walks. I’m an active person and love spending time exercising with dogs for walks and playtime! I also enjoy providing mental stimulation/enrichment for both dogs and cats through sniffing activities, puzzles, and trick training!

I have a very friendly and outgoing cat, Juniper. Please let me know how your pet does with cats if you know! Our house offers easy separation for cases where the pets need to be separated.
A typical day
I’m very passionate about giving all pets both physical exercise and mental enrichment! For dogs, this includes walks, play time, sniffing activities, puzzle games, trick and obedience training, and more! For cats, this includes play time with cat safe toys (no lasers), sniffing activities, and puzzles as the cat prefers to participate! Of course all pets will get lots of love and cuddles from me too!

Availability
I work as an occupational therapist full time. However, my schedule fluctuates between weekdays and weekends, allowing me to take care of pets on my off days, which is usually Thursday-Sunday! Your pet will be with me all day; inside my house for cuddles, playtime in the backyard, or walks to the local park! I have a very friendly and outgoing cat, Juniper. But our house offers easy separation for cases where the pets need to be separated.
