Hey there! I recently bought my own home and now have the flexibility of more formally dog sitting (through Rover), but I have been the go-to sitter for my friends for many years. I love having a week-long companion or weekend companion as an excuse for excursions and being outside. :) I have hosted 3 dogs from 2 families at once when needed, including 2 miniature dogs and 1 large dog. I won't take risks with your dog's safety, though, and would prefer one dog "family" at a time. :) I love going for walks, hikes, parks, and bar trips with my visitors and am happy to either house sit or have your dog to may place if he/she is housebroken. My house is quite large and has a great backyard (fenced on 2 sides but not front/back) so plenty of area for the dog(s) to run around on or off leash at your discretion as well as lounge on the back deck. Of note, I work Friday through Monday, 7am-6pm so am out of the house for about 12 hours those days. My weekends are Tuesday-Thursday. I do occasionally have the option to ask my housemate to let a dog out midday or at another point in the day, but if your dog is pee pad trained or can go 12 hours before being let out, that’s ideal.
