A true animal lover at heart, I love spending time with dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and sizes. ~ DOGS: Growing up, I lived with three dogs: a large Lab/German Shepherd, a little Lhasa Apso, and a sweet Pit Bull. A few years ago, my husband and I rescued a 4 month old puppy from a city shelter. He had a rough start and was found injured, roaming the streets. We've done a lot of professional training with him over the past few years, working with a dog trainer and behavioral specialist. These training sessions have done wonders for him and made me a much more knowledgeable and confident dog parent. Today he's a giant 105 lb lap dog who enjoys cuddles, belly rubs, getting treats for commands, and - of course - walks. I promise to treat your dog just as good as my own and can't wait to get to know their unique personality. I look forward to getting their tail wagging and paws moving, rain or shine, in the great outdoors! If your dog needs a bit more love and exercise, I’m happy to offer 60 minute walks. I also offer drop-in visits! *Please note that if you are traveling away from home, my minimum standard of care requires at least 3 drop-in visits per 24 hours in the morning, midday, and evening to ensure the health and safety of your dog. ~ CATS: I've also grown up with several cats and currently have two five year old cats that I rescued from a feral colony when they were kittens. I volunteer to support the local House of Dreams No-Kill Cat Shelter.
