Pet care experience
My first job was working at a dog and cat kennel where I cared for 20+ pets a day, interacted with owners and did a lot of cleaning! The kennel owner bread show dogs (King Charles Cavaliers) so I worked with puppies right after they were born. There, I also got experience bathing dogs and I was even trained to show dogs. I have also volunteered at animal rescues over the years and that is how I ended up adopting my cat Bella at six months old.

It feels like family when we drop Max off with Sarah! He's stayed with her multiple times and we love how she cares for him so much that we won't even consider anyone else!

She's always communicating with texts, pictures and videos to ease your mind while you're away and her personality is just as good as the care she provides our pup! AMAZING experience! It couldn't have been any better. Sarah was accommodating with both the pickup and drop off dates and times, as I had to make some changes. I asked if I could pick Max up a day early (on Christmas), and she made it happen and even offered to refund 1 of the days of our original booking without me even asking. She was so good with the communication, flexibility, pictures, etc. that I told her to keep it. She was worth every bit of what we paid for Max to stay with her. She will be our go-to from this point forward!

My husband and I have a warm and loving home with a fenced in yard. We recently had to say goodbye to our senior retired hunting dog, Buster, who loved getting to know our Rover client dogs. We have three cats- one that is outgoing and loves making new friends and the other two will keep to themselves.

Please give me as much information about your pet as possible ahead of time so I can take care of them at my best ability. I am very patient and calm with animals, reading the animals body language to help me understand them. Things I should know: -any allergies? -any medications they are on and what do you give them with the medication? (Peanut butter, cheese, etc.) -is your dog used to a strict routine, if so what is that routine? -how/where does your dog sleep typically at night? (in bed with you, dog bed, floor, crate) -any food aggression, anxiety, fears, behaviors I should be aware of? -how does your pet do around other dogs/cats? -has your pet been boarded or kenneled before?
A typical day
Your pet will get daily pets, snuggles, attention, love, and play! When the weather permits we will get lots of outside time in the yard, sprinkler time and outdoor baths. If you request daily walks I’ll be happy to walk your dog around our quiet neighborhood. When I leave the house your dog will be crated for safety. I have two small crates and one large crate that has a divider so it can be sized down to fit a smaller dog too or you’re welcome to bring your dog’s own kennel.

I own my own small business Boho Glam Extra where I create dried flower bouquets for weddings and home decor. I sell them on my Etsy site and ship them out of my home to clients all over the US. I work from my home studio which allows me flexibility and control over my schedule. This gives me plenty of time to care for pets in my home or the ability to take a break and go check on your pet! Prior to starting my own online business, I was a recruiter for 7 years working with people all day everyday which allowed me to gain strong communication and time management skills. I am a professional and I strive to do my best in all areas of my life. That means I will read your care instructions carefully, ask follow up questions, take notes, offer a Meet & Greet, arrive on time, communicate warmly and thoroughly, send photos and updates of your pets experience, be reliable and try to meet your pets every need!
