I’ve always had a deep love for animals and my flexible work schedule has freed up a lot of my time, now giving me the opportunity to spend my days with furry friends. Pets are family members and while I’m with yours, I will be sure to shower them with plenty of love, attention, and care. I’ve worked and volunteered at humane leagues and animal shelters since 2004. I’ve also assisted with boarding and grooming at a pet center in Granite Falls NC. I have personally cared for my own animals for over 17 years, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, and small rodents. Many of my pets have needed daily medications and/or had special needs. While I sit for you, I will love and care for your animal as if they were my very own. I have a flexible schedule during the day and am off on weekends so I will have plenty of time to spend with your animals while you are away! I like to make sure that any animal I am caring for is totally comfortable. I am flexible with taking walks outside and little adventures throughout the day or mostly staying indoors too, depending on your pet’s interests and activity levels. I am currently pet sitting full time so my schedule is very flexible. I can be available to be with pets all day depending on their routine, needs, and daily activities. I like to keep the environment, care, and daily routine for pets as similar as possible to their owners. This really tends to help with separation anxiety and lets animals feel at home, whether they are at my house or their own.
