Hi! I'm Sarah. I'm a freelance book editor, part-time nanny, and full-time dog and cat mom. I only work outside my home 2 afternoons a week, so my schedule is incredibly flexible. I have been petsitting since I was 14, and I've been the lucky human of several cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, gerbils, and fish. I am also passionate about animal rescue and welfare; my most recent adventure was being in charge of a colony 15 feral cats that I fed and loved and sheltered on my porch (and then had spayed and neutered via a city TNR program). All three of my dogs are "special" in one way or another (one very wild inbred rescued corgi with separation anxiety, one rescued corgi mutt with two bladder stone surgeries under her belt, and one rescued senior pom with terrible teeth and a severe storm phobia), so I am no stranger to dogs with behavioral issues or medical needs. I have the worst pet-parent anxiety when I'm not home during the day or on a trip, so I probably know exactly what you want in a dependable, communicative, caring dogsitter.
