Pet care experience
I have owned and lived with dogs most of my life. I have a strong connection with animals, and really enjoy getting to know the personality of each dog. I am familiar with all sorts of harnesses, and do best with dogs that maintain eye contact and like personal contact and reassuring. While I like to take dogs outside frequently, especially in the city, I know how to calm a dog inside, and I am completely happy to comply with any specifications or advisements from the owner- as of course, you know best with your friend.

I would like to know the general temperament (while that is easy to find out, it can help upon entering and first encountering the dog), as well as any stark favorites or peeves he/she has. I have no breed preferences, my personality is very calm and can help the more anxious dogs adjust to their owner being gone.
A typical day
Depending on the location of your apartment, I like the trails by the Brooklyn zoo, central park, and Tompkins. I am happy to go on several mile walks with animals that have the stamina, and am friends with a worker at The Barking Zoo, so I like to stop there for a healthy dog treat when in the area.
