Home full-time large fenced yard

Pet care experience

We will love your pets as much as you do!! I have a passion for all animals and nothing brings me more joy than being surrounded by animals large and small!! I have experience as a vet tech and have been caring for animals for over 30 years. The health and happiness of our beloved pets is the most important priority to me. I am very comfortable giving medication, shots, inhaler or any other medication your pet might require. Traveling is stressful enough, you deserve to know your dog(s) are being loved and well cared for while you are away and that is what we do!! A LITTLE BIT ABOUT OUR HOME: We have a large 2 acre property where I have 3 horses I care for daily along with a dog, two boys ages 11 and 15. We have a very large yard for dogs to run and play and a doggie door for constant inside/outside access. My yard is split to allow everyone lots of space and to play safely with pups of similar size and energy levels. I am home full-time except for occasional errand running. I believe in providing your pets with the best possible care, love and attention and keeping their routine as close to normal as possible. We love being outside and are always looking for an excuse to play ball or frisbee with any pup who is willing!! :) We give lots of attention and hugs and kisses to the dogs and one of us is almost always playing or snuggling with them watching tv. We get so much joy out of dog sitting and treat all the pups like part of our family and just LOVE getting to know each pup and seeing them repeatedly!! PRIOR TO BOOKING A STAY: We would love to set up a meet and greet at our home so you can see our yard and home. Also discuss care instructions, medications, feeding times, exercise routine, favorite things to do, bedtime arrangements and any other needs or desires your dog(s) might have while you are away. This allows you to see where your dog(s) will be spending their time and we are both confident that all dogs will have an enjoyable time together. THINGS TO BRING: -Your dog's food -Any medications they are taking -Any treats you would like them to have -Collar with id tag -Kennel if they are used to sleeping in one or a blanket from home for first time overnight stays WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR DOG'S STAY: They will be happy and loved and cuddled with while you are away. Our large lot is perfect for lots of play time and our large arena is completely dedicated to the dogs and is perfect for ball chasing and running and we do our best to make sure they are nice and tired when you get them back. Small dogs are never outside unsupervised and no dogs are allowed outside when we aren't home. Daily photo/video updates via the Rover app or text/email unless you ask for something less frequent. Your dog's happiness and safety is my #1 priority and we work very hard to make sure your pups know they are loved, cared for and given lots of playtime!! **PRICING**All pups over 25lbs will be charged an additional $10 per night stay** **unfortunately our homeowner’s insurance does not allow us to accept pit bulls, pit bull mixes, american stafford terriers, german shepherds, doberman pinchers, or rottweilers. WE HOPE TO MEET YOU AND YOUR PUPS SOON!!

Sarah was very friendly and her yard provided an expansive place for my dog to run and explore. My dog PJ is very timid but seemed to enjoy her day with several other dog friends.

Absolutely love having Sarah and her family watch our two furry girls. They are excited to see her and come home happy and exhausted. She is wonderful and I highly recommend her.

My dog, Max, loves going to doggie daycare with Sarah. I am always sure he will have a great time and he comes home tired out from a day of play.

In the morning everyone goes outside for a potty break then get fed breakfast. After that we spend the day playing lots of ball, fetch and tug of war. The pups enjoy running and playing on our large 2 acre backyard. They are given plenty of time to run and play throughout the day since I am home full-time. We feed dinner between 4-5pm and final potty break is about 8:30-9pm.
