Pet care experience
I will match your dog's excitement or your cat's curiosity. I have been an animal lover all my life and I am currently a proud pet mom of two young cats and an older dog. My experience with taking care of animals started with adopting my first pet beagle at 8 years old. Since then I have always loved volunteering at the nearby animal shelters and watching friends' and family's pets while they were gone. Some background information about me: I moved from New Orleans to New York with my sister recently in hopes of finding a college program more suited to my degree. While looking at schools, I will be available full-time to walk, watch, take care of, and love as many animals as possible.

Sarah has watched our Rottweiler/lab mix several times over the last year. Our dog likes all people in general, but he instantly took to Sarah more than he does with other people. Sarah has stayed at our house a few times to watch our dog and we would receive photos whenever requested. We've always come home to our apartment very well cared for with a happy doggie.
Sarah walks our dog three times a day and even watched him when my boyfriend and I went on a two week vacation. She sent us pics, took him to the park, and made sure he was well fed! Very easy to coordinate with.
Sarah would be a great pet sitter for your dog. She loves animals and has always had pets of her own. She will be staying in New York for the summer to watch and walk her sister's dog, Walter. She is very patient with animals and they seem to love her. Sarah is 20 years old and has plenty of energy to handle any type of dog. Give her a try! You won't be disappointed.

My favorite breeds of dog are beagle and border collie, mostly because I have had these breeds before, but that does not limit my love of other breeds! I would like to know the size and age beforehand if possible to give me an idea of what to bring.
A typical day
I will normally find the nearest park and go jogging when taking dogs out for walks. If a particular dog likes to fetch or play with a frisby, I'll bring a disc along with us!
