Full Time Fur Baby Sanctuary

Pet care experience

I've had dogs since I was 1 year old. My oldest just passed and she was incontinent with epilepsy and blind from glaucoma. She taught me how to treat a dog like royalty! If your baby has special needs I am definitely the one to contact. I will follow any special schedules, as I truly understand the importance of them. Every pup is safe with me, and I'll love on them as much as they want

Sarah was a great dog sitter! We came home to very happy healthy dogs. Sarah was very good about asking questions and communicating on a regular basis to keep us updated about the dogs. We will use Sarah again as the dogs and our home were both taken care of very well.

Although I had to cancel my appointment with Sarah, she was extremely easy to deal with and is very flexible. I will use her in the future! Thank you Sarah!

Sarah was a fantastic Sitter for our finicky pup. She was caring, punctual, and considerate of our home. We will be using her again!

Sarah is the type of person to get a big smile when she sees any dog. All she wants to do is love it. Sarah is very responsible when it comes to animals she will take care of all their needs and constantly give the animal love.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a one bedroom apartment with two cats. They're both females and they're 1 and 6 years old. They hide from dogs until everything is calm, then they might make an appearance. I live in a small complex about 5 minutes from a park I'd love to take pups to. I have a twin sister who lives in this complex, and she is also a dog lover. If you have dogs that need to be walked separately, she is happy to help out. Other than that, there is plenty of room inside for play or relaxation.

Home

Lives in an apartment
Has an unfenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has cats
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Information Sarah D. would like to know about your pet

I'd like to know in advance if your dog gets along with cats/how they interact with cats. Also, it'd be nice to know ahead of time if I need to put cat food up or if theyll stay away from it. I dont have any specific breed preferences, but I would like to know if I can slip your fur baby a snack from meals i might prepare. I usually cook with veggies! For visiting a dog's house I'd like to know if they're territorial, what makes them uncomfortable, and what they do if they get uncomfortable. In the end it's all about you and your dogs happiness so anything you want to tell me about them I'd love to hear!

A typical day

I will take your dog on a nice walk to the park, which is usually empty, or the dog park which is usually bussing with happy pups. Of course it depends on who I'm walking and what that dogs preferences are. In this neighborhood, people walk their dogs everywhere so there is a good chance of social interaction either way. If your dog likes to stay home, I have a very comfy setup where animals are allowed wherever they feel most comfortable. When visiting a dogs home I am most respectful to their personal space and never want to make them feel uncomfortable. I'll wait however long they need to to get comfortable with me for walks but on walks I keep a very close eye. I have toys if they take them and treats but I will cater to your wishes if you have a special pup.
