Pet care experience
So excited to start meeting some little critters and taking care of them for you. I grew up with so many pets in the house, but miss them now that I don't live at home. I have years of experience with big and small dogs, including starting my own successful pet service with my siblings when I was a kid! I'm so eager to be around them again. I am loving and kind, but also a clear disciplinarian with a sense of what dogs respond well to, from experience and because I've watched a lot of Cesar Milan. I am also young and strong- I hike 5x a week and I'd love to take a big energetic dog with me up Monte Sol, or a smaller fella around the neighborhood. I'm a student, covid-negative and taking weekly tests, very nice, and so so excited to meet you and your pets!!

Sarah was great with my dog! He is older and requires some additional care but she handled it like a pro! I received lots of pictures and know Bubb had a great time with her!
Sarah has been helping me with my dog for several years now. He’s a high-energy dog and not always the easiest. Of all the people in his life, he LOVES Sarah! She’s both mellow and confident, and dogs are just drawn to her—they can tell that she genuinely cares about their well-being. I can’t say enough great things about her.
Sarah has been watching my bobcat Frank for years. I always feel so safe and comfortable leaving him with her when I leave town. They have a great relationship, and he’s always excited to see her. Highly recommend!

Information Sarah D. would like to know about your pet
I have a lot of experience with all different kinds of dogs- expensive breeder dogs, ratty lil mutts with behavior issues, old and young dogs, so on and so forth. I mainly like to get a sense of their personality once I meet them in person, but it might be good to get a basic gauge of their energy levels before we walk together. Also would like to know if they are trained to walk on or off leash as I would probably change where I walk with them based on that.
A typical day
I hike Monte Sol and Luna, almost every day, as well as the Atalaya occasionally. I also walk/jog around my neighborhood slowly for around 20 minutes each morning, so there is plenty of variety in the amount of exercise I can give your pet. We can also go to parks to play fetch, or drive out to Abiquiu if your dog likes to swim. I'm open to other suggestions too!
