Young, Caring, Animal Lover

Pet care experience

Please check out my Instagram (NGK9Notts) for more info and experience. I have grown up with dogs of a range of sizes - from Chihuahuas to Labradors. I have my own dog (Bowie), who is a Border Collie. He is my best friend and my day revolves around him. He enjoys playing with other dogs, playing fetch and wrestling with them. As a Collie is a fairly challenging breed, I'd say I'm well equipped with knowledge on caring for animals. I live very close to quiet rural walks, so we get up at 7am every morning for an hour walk. In the evenings, we tend to go to the local field to socialise with other dogs and their hoomans. I'd say that my loving nature is what sets me apart from the rest - whether your dog is an excitable bundle of fun, slightly nervy or likes to be left alone to do their own thing, I will cater to this and adapt the way I look after them to suit their individual needs. I'm all about building a rapport with the dog/owner, so your fury friends feels perfectly comfortable (and excited) to be in my care. Any special requests are welcomed!

Sarah is the most loving dog owner I know - she loves to be with her dog and she also loves to help other people out with theirs, so I'm not surprised she has taken this next step. She will make your dog feel comfortable and confident and she will most definitely cater for their needs! If you're a protective dog Mom (or Dad), like myself, then Sarah is the girl to turn to. She will make you feel completely at-peace and satisfied that your dog is being cared for, just like she would her own. Expect constant pictures and videos, and your dog/cat to return to you as a very very happy floof!

Safety, trust & environment

I will always follow what the owner requests. Whether your dog is reactive and needs to stay on the lead, or they require a long line, or they are well behaved and can be let off the lead, I will keep up your current training and only ever do what you ask/give me permission to do. I am also a strong believer in mental enrichment, so if you need me to leave your dog with some enrichment toys (a kong, snuffle mat etc) then just ask and I can do this.

Information Sarah C. would like to know about your pet

It is important to inform me if your dog enjoys other dogs company - so I can cater the walks to suit this. It is also important to let me know if your dog has any specific creature comforts/triggers, which I need to be aware of.

A typical day

A typical day would involve a fun walk in the morning, to investigate new smells and stretch their legs. Followed by some garden play midday, as many cuddles as is required and lots of treats. The day would be finished with another walk (if needed).
