WFH! Safety first, then cuddles
Pet care experience
“It looks like Finn's been to the spa!" & "The house looks better than how we left it!" -Quotes from my past clients Hello! I'd love to assist in taking care of your pet(s). Please send me a message as far in advance as possible so we can meet and discuss the best possible care for your critter! I have professional pet-sitting and fostering experience, so I understand how to interact with all sorts of cat and dog personalities, hyper or shy, food-motivated or people-motivated, and more. Having grown up on a farm in Hawaii, I also know how to care for more exotic animals - horses, cows, chickens, chinchillas, and more - and I love being around them. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Reviews

We were happy to have Sarah back for an overnight with our pets. She's great with our dog who sometimes requires a bit more patience and understanding. Sarah is reliable and easy to work with. Thanks again, Sarah!

Sarah is great! She spent six days at our home taking care of our pup and parrot. It usually takes our dog a while to warm to new people but she warmed up to Sarah right away. Caring for a bird was new, and Sarah asked good questions about his needs and routine. We appreciated the note and photos/videos she sent each day. Highly recommend! Thank you Sarah!!

Sarah was awesome and so professional with Lily! We got regular updates while we were away, and we could tell Lily was well cared for when we got back.

Sarah was great Skipper. We would definitely use her again.

Safety, trust & environment
SAFETY, TRUST, & ENVIRONMENT: Safety is first and foremost. I don't do off-leash anything outside of the home. I also am careful with mealtimes and toys. I prefer pups to come with their crates or beds so they always have a safe space to retreat to.
Information Sarah C. would like to know about your pet
I'd like to know all the basics - age, breed, general temperant, any issues (honesty always preferred!) - as well as vet info. Also helpful are answers such as - What do they like to do / play with? How often should we go out on walks and to the bathroom? When are the feeding times? Where do they like to sleep, and what times do they generally sleep and wake up? Are they okay in a car if we're on our way to the park? Can I give them treats?
A typical day
A typical day when sitting is nothing too extravagant, but dogs don't need anything crazy to be happy - walks around the neighborhood, access to the yard, plenty of toys for pups, comfy furniture to sit on, small games to stimulate their doggy brains, and lots of love.
Services

Availability
SCHEDULE: I work from home, so the pups have attentive supervision 100% of the time. We'll wake up and take a potty break in the yard, then take a couple of walks throughout the day - morning, midday, or after work. My weekends vary but if my schedule allows for pet-sitting, we'll drive to some longer walks, enjoy the yard if the weather allows, and spend time playing and snuggling at home.
