Growing up in Maine, My family always had the freedom to enjoy the outdoors and to have many pets! For me these two things to hand in hand. We always had at least 2 dogs and one cat. When I moved to California almost 10 years ago, we sadly had to leave our pups behind. Since then, I've jumped at every chance to care for other people's pets. My appreciation and love for dogs as grown, as I've realized how much humor and fun they bring in to peoples' lives! Most recently, I've cared for everything from 2 wild springer spaniels, to one needy and hilarious French bulldog named Lilly. As a caregiver, I am highly sensitive. I have experience working with special needs children and have a lot of practice tuning into needs. I find it important to tune into and cues an animal may be giving me. In order for a dog to trust me who I make sure to be respectful of their space. After an animal feels secure, they're usually a ton of fun!
