Pet care experience
I recently had to put my best buddy down due to heart failure. He was my constant companion, and the house just doesn't feel the same without him. While I'm not ready to get my own pup again, I miss having animals around me. I am great at snuggle time and getting lots of walks. Additionally my back yard has some of the best sun spots for laying around. If you are looking to have your pet be the only animal in my house - I will ask to increase the daily rate or an additional add on to adjust for not taking another other bookings during your pets stay. As a thick haired gal and former Australian Shepherd owner all furs welcome!

This was my first time leaving my pets with Sarah and I'm so happy to have found her. I often travel for work and Sarah provided daily updates and photos. It was very clear they had been given care and attention during their visit and I really appreciate her communication. Excellent sitter and will be using again.

I have a fenced back yard (newer privacy fence) kept mowed. I go on long walks (1-2 miles) most mornings and would be happy to bring any active dogs with me. If the weather is nice and I'm home, I tend to keep my back door open, allowing dogs free reign in and out of the house. I treat any dogs in the house just like members of my own family.

Please let me know if your dog has quicks and behaviors that will signal their needs. Additionally if your dog is used to being in a crate while away - I will ask that you bring that with you.
A typical day
Dogs can expect lots of backyard exploring time. Typically I'll take a long walk once a day (usually in the morning before work), I try to go for at least 30 minutes which is about 2 miles at my pace. But can adjust time and pace for the dog.

I currently work full time - 4 days in office (Monday thru Thurs) and 1 day work from home. However, my office is 10 minutes away door to door. I have the opportunity to pop back home and provide any pets with bathroom breaks. During the weekend - I am a homebody and tend to have lots of time for walks, playtime and general merriment with dogs.
