Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats as pets throughout my life. I currently have two (sister) cats named Coco and Duchess. I volunteer for the Virginia Beach Animal Care and Adoption Center as a caretaker and adoption counselor. I am an animal lover who is looking to help support myself outside of my fulltime job. For the dog owner, I love long walks outdoors. For the cat owner, I do not mind cleaning cat litter or dealing with “cattitude”. Thank you for your time and consideration!

Sarah checked in on my cat while I was on vacation and was great! I felt comfortable knowing my house was left secured while I was away and my kitty was getting some play time. She was also sweet enough to water my plants and bring in my mail. Highly recommended!

A typical day
I enjoy long walks outdoors, and I am a physically fit and active person by nature. I especially enjoy going to Marshview Park, First Landing Park, and Redwing Park. For the cat lovers, I will be happy to engage in play/enrichment time if that fits their personalities.

I work full-time, Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00, so lunchtime and evenings are when I have the most availability to provide services. Weekends are also a possibility for me.
