Pet care experience
I adopted my Great Pyrenees when I was just 21, and have raised him since he was a stubborn and massive polar bear puppy. We now belong to a pack of animals including 2 cats, 4 other dogs, and a snake, all under one roof! I am subsequently comfortable with handling all varieties of animal companions (even rodents). I know firsthand the importance of daily exercise and meeting our fur friends where they’re at, and am highly adaptable to individual needs. As a dog owner myself, I can ensure that the same care I give my fur baby will be offered to yours. I have a relative who is a veterinarian and available for phone calls should any spontaneous concerns arise revolving your pet! Rather your pet prefers long walks and big adventures, or slow snuggles and quick exercise, I am here for their needs😊

I currently don’t offer boarding services. I will follow the unique safety procedures necessary for each individual animal I’m interacting with. Prior to accepting a care position for a pet, I go over questions around food, animal and people aggression, as well as a history of separation and weather anxiety. I ask for clarity around limits and boundaries in the home so I can be a reliable source of information for your pet. I am not willing to socialize your pet with other animals, such as at the dog park, while I am responsible for them.

I have found that meet and greets with the owner present will generally help all parties feel at ease with each other, especially if your pet companion struggles with separation anxiety!
A typical day
I am happy to lounge around with pets who are interested in more downtime, and also happy to exercise your pet companion with their preferred method of play, be that going for a walk, a quick run, a hike, or playing fetch.

I am available in the mornings and evenings, and for during the day drop ins every week do. I do require meet and greets with owners present before committing to any future contact.
