I’ve never met a dog I didn’t love!
Pet care experience
My first job was pet sitting when I was about 10 years old. I was the “go to” kid in my neighborhood growing up as the pet sitter and baby sitter. Dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils; I didn’t it all. I was also so happy doing this as a kid and as I’ve gotten to the ripe old age of 40, I think it’s time to embrace the happiness of helping my neighbors once again. For me, when I go away, I believe that the peace of mind of knowing my own dog is cared for is the only way I can relax whether I’m away for a week, or away for a few extra hours and need help letting my handsome dog, Brady out and loved. Animals make me happy & that’s what I am happy to focus on!
About Sarah C.
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
In a client’s home, I would treat each visit with respect to your personal property, be full of happy energy & treats to greet your animal. I would deliver lots of scratching behind the ears, then rally the pet for an adventure outside. If a walk is needed, which it most likely would be, we would walk the block and sniff ALL THE THINGS. I would be responsible with all pet encounters along the wall and pick up all pet waste and dispose of properly. I carry a Fanny pack with a phone, treats, poop bags and an air horn in the case of a coyote interaction. I’m always prepared!
