Pet care experience
Welcome to my Rover profile. Here is some info about me: 1. I worked at an animal hospital as a kennel technician for 8 months. 2. I have animal care experience for about 15 years with my own pets. 3. My sister is in school to be a Vet so she's tons of help! 4. I have 3 dogs. 5. At my job I assisted in taking care of animals of all sizes and ages. 6. I assisted doctors in specific tasks such as feeding, giving meds, bathing, setting up animals on fluids, (IV) and the basic necessities for animal care. 7. I worked with sick patients in a secluded area called ISO and know the protocols to keep every animal safe and out of harms way. 8. I have taken care of over 8 animals on a military base in Hawaii. My schedule is pretty flexible as I am enrolled into online school and can work at any hour of the day! Your pet comes first! For my home I have a fenced yard and loads of room to hang out and play in! Animals are allowed on my bed, but not on my furniture. If I am caring for a youngster I will dog proof everything and provide appropriate toys. I would like to add that my neighborhood is a safe place to walk dogs! I also live within 5 minutes of a dog park. I am able to control dogs who are hyper and happily excited on the leash when walking them. I would like to add that ALL DOGS are always leashed and I NEVER let them interact with other dogs they aren't familiar with. As this can cause unwanted/unexpected reactions. As a caregiver I am flexible, understanding, negotiable, communicative, and compassionate.
Reviews
Sarah did a wonderful job taking care of our 2-months old puppy for 10 days while staying at our house! She kept up with training and the routine. The puppy was well cared for and socialized. She communicated clearly and promptly if any questions came up. She also left the house in a pristine shape upon departure.
Sarah and her family graciously accepted our senior dog after circumstances with a previous sitter didn’t work out in the middle of our trip. Sarah kept us informed of how our dog was doing and worked with us to ensure that he was comfortable and not stressed at her house. Very much made the remainder of our trip better by not stressing about our dog.
Sarah is very careful about hosting dogs, she’ll make sure they get along before taking on the job. My dog Dudu had such a good time with her, highly recommended!
Sarah did a great job watching both my house and my pet! I would definitely recommend her and hire her again! It was a relief to know that she was there with my elderly Shih Tzu while we were out of the country. She even watered our grass! Oh and she and was very clean. Would hire her again!

I DO NOT provide services to aggressive dogs. It DOES NOT matter if they are slightly aggressive. This puts myself and my other dogs at risk. INFORMATION I NEED IN ORDER TO CARE FOR YOUR ANIMAL IN THE BEST POSSIBLE WAY 1. What are your dog's/cat's characteristics? Good and not so good. 2. Friendly towards other dogs? 3. Friendly towards cats? 4. Routine concerning the dog/cat. 5. Medical history and complications concerning the dog/cat. 6. Does your dog/cat have anxiety or separation anxiety? 7. How often do you socialize your dog/cat. 8. What is your dog's/cat's temperament? 9. How often is your dog around cats and dogs. How often is your cat around other cats and dogs? 10. Has your dog/cat sent another animal or person to the ER? If so what happened? 11. Likes and dislikes? 12. Vet info: location, phone number, emergency phone number. 13. I would like two phone numbers I can contact in case of an emergency. 14. Up to date shot records/vaccinations via email or paper document. 15. REQUIRED FOR ALL: Meet and greet is a must. I will be bringing my own dogs to assure that myself, and all the dogs are friendly and get along. I like to request at least two walks with the dog to assure we are a good fit and an hour of one on one time. 16. YOU MUST provide info regarding your dog/cat in an email or paper document. The goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, loved, and happy!
A typical day
We could attend safe dog parks! We will most likely be playing with balls, frisbee or any other of their favorite toys! Amongst other things I like to keep them on their schedule! And enjoy doing what they enjoy to do.
