Experienced Animal Lover
Pet care experience
I love dogs, cats, reptiles, horses and many other animals! I have had dogs my entire life and have cared for a range of breeds. I have 4 acres and I can spend quality time with your baby while you are away. I know that your animals are not just pets, they are family. I also was an Animal Control Officer. I live about 20 minutes outside of San Antonio Texas. I have a lot of patience and dedication in anything I do! I have worked with pets that may be on the shy side. I can also spend time with your pet before their actual stay to insure your pet is comfortable with me! I also clean with Kenesol.
Reviews
Sarah is responsible and professional. She is so knowledgeable and best of all my my dog absolutely loved her from the moment they met. I would highly recommend having Sarah care for your pets!
Dog has stayed with Sarah and her family three times now. He is always happy to see them and is well cared for. We have no worries about him when he stays in their home.
Our dog picked Sarah as his sitter. He went right to her at our meet and greet so she was our choice to care for him while we were away. He was well cared for and enjoyed playing with her dogs. Will be taking him back to her on our next trip! Thank you Sarah for the peace of mind you gave us knowing he was in good hands!

Information Sarah C. would like to know about your pet
If your dog has a schedule you would like to keep. What are two situations in which you might need to introduce new dogs to each other? I will first ask if your dog does well with other dogs. If I have another dog coming over to stay I will introduce each other outside so they do not feel trapped or threatened. How will you go about introducing them? I will allow them to walk up to each other unless one does not look comfortable. They will be on leashes. Where will the introductions occur? Outside on leashes What warning signs will you watch for? I will watch for teeth or growling or hair standing up. I have lots of experience with body language. How will you react if they are showing signs of stress during an introduction? I will separate the dogs and reward them for trying and later try again.
A typical day
Your dog can enjoy being outside often. Your dog can enjoy relaxing inside and dedicating time to playing! I am young and full of energy. How would you prevent dogs from escaping each of these situations: While on a walk? Before I would take your dog on a walk I would make sure their leash is in well working condition and that their collar is on properly. Bolting through doors? I will always leash your dog before I open the door. Playing in a fenced yard or dog park? I will always be supervising your dog. I will never bring your dog to a dog park without permission.
