Doggie by Nature

Pet care experience

I started at a doggie day care in my twenties. I have been petsitting since then for over ten years. I worked at a vet and am comfortable with all types and sizes. Medications are not an issue. I really enjoy older dogs, I have two myself. I also have fostered for many organizations in Atlanta. I am enrolled in school and my goal at the end is to start a non profit to assist people with vet bills when they endure a hard time. All my clients have, have been with me for years. I have watched puppies become seniors and consider them family too. My dogs are very friendly, although now that they are getting up there in age- they sleep a lot more

Sarah was friendly and super great in accommodating our last minute request. We were driving though on a 12 hour journey and needed to break it up and couldn’t find a dog boarding place that had room. He was really relaxed when we picked him up and not stressed in the least. Will definitely use her when traveling through again and recommend her highly!

I highly recommend Sarah as a dog sitter. First, it is apparent to anyone who meets her that she is an animal lover. When taking care of my Neapolitan Mastiff Sarah went above and beyond just pet sitting. She showed genuine compassion and concern for my dog’s health and wellbeing. When my dog was sick I knew my dog would be well taken care of and she even suggested medications I may want to discuss with the veterinarian which may have been helpful to my dog. The biggest prof of how well Sarah took care of my dog was my dog Sheba! Whenever Sarah came to pick up Sheba - Sheba would be sooo excited to see Sarah. It would be difficult to hold Sheba back - Sheba would run to the car, jump in the back seat and be ready to go off with Sarah. If you are looking for a trustworthy, kind and compassionate dog sitter then Sarah is your woman. I would never trust anyone else take care of my baby.

I've known Sarah for about 15 years. I first employed Sarah to care for my dog, but gradually came to be friends with her because the better I got to know her, the more I saw what a very high quality person she is. Sarah is smart, determined, kind, very responsible and completely trustworthy. She has an encyclopedic understanding of pet care and, if there's something she doesn't know, her instincts are excellent. She has a deep and sincere concern for the well-being of the pets she cares for and the ability to put pet owners at ease. I can't recommend Sarah highly enough.

A typical day

Start with a morning walk, get some breakfast (if you feed them in the am), play with some toys, maybe take a nice afternoon nap on one of the comfy beds, take a midday walk, maybe go to the park for a bit or just play with the other doggie friends.
