Dog Walking and Drop-In Pet Care!

Pet care experience

I have a lot of experience with dogs and animals in general. There has never been a time in my life where I did not have at least two dogs and one cat. I love animals more than anything and would love a job where I can work with them. While at Miami University this school year, I went through all three levels of volunteer orientation at the Animal Adoption Foundation in Hamilton, Ohio. Level 1 orientation was a general overview of the workings of the foundation. Level 2 focused on interacting with the dogs, specifically how to correctly and safely introduce yourself to new dogs, how to interpret their body language, and how to use a clicker in training. Level 3 orientation focused on walking the dogs.

Sarah is one of my close friends and we are both avid animal lovers. She has a house full of animals such as dogs, cats, and guinea pigs! Sarah cares for every one of her pets and loves them with her whole heart. Sarah cares for them through giving attention, feeding, walking, grooming or cleaning her guinea pig’s cage! That is just the basis of what she does. Not only does she love animals, but she truly has a connection with animals and will find one with yours too! I have volunteered at shelter events numerous times with her and there has never been an animal who she does not connect with one way or another. I believe her to be the perfect candidate to watch your pets not only because of her love and care for animals, but also because she is a very reliable and responsible person.

Sarah has had pets her entire life, including at least 10 dogs. She is absolutely wonderful with animals and loves them dearly. She is particularly fond of dogs--of all types, kinds, breeds, sizes, shapes, moods, and talents and characteristics. She loves them all. She currently has four at her house and cares for all on a daily basis. Further, she is extremely responsible, smart, and pet/dog-intuitive. She would be an outstanding dog caregiver and I recommend her with great enthusiasm and full confidence in her ability to excel.
