Auntie Sarah's P.A.C.

Pet care experience

Hi! My name is Sarah and I'm an avid animal lover and companion animal behaviorist! I've been working mainly with dogs and cats for about the last six years. I'm experienced with all breeds and employ many different care techniques based upon the individual needs of both you and your furry family member. I believe with lots of love, patience, and play I can get any job done and I'm always willing to go that extra mile - sometimes literally! I'm happy to provide detailed accounts of my daily activities, always accompanied by some (awesome) pictures and videos. I'm well versed in Behaviorism & Behavior Modification, Positive Reinforcement, Pack Leader Mentality, and Bond-Based Training, as well as Spoiling Your Dog Rotten! I'm also trained in Animal Psychology and basic veterinary skills such as medication dosing, intravenous fluids, injections (insulin and other), anal gland expression, etc; as well as basic grooming and nail trimming/grinding. I started at Petsmart Daycare for my first year and for the next two years I managed and helped to build an amazing animal care company so this is my "solo tour"! I have tons of both professional and personal references available upon request. I am very well trusted so you can rest assured that the quality of my care is unparalleled! I also offer discounted rates for both multiple dogs, and/or extended bookings! My mission is to improve the lives of humans through my work with their fur babies. :-) I managed an Animal Care company for over two years and during that time cared for animals in every capacity possible i.e. daycare, walking, sitting, etc. I now have my own small company and provide all sorts of services on a daily basis. I'm also trained in Animal Psychology which can sometimes be a huge benefit when your baby is without you. Additionally, I ran Doggie Daycares in the PetHotel at Petsmart. I've also volunteered with several different rescues. I have tons of both personal and professional references available upon request. Why I love dog sitting My entire life I've loved all creatures great and small! When I was very young I had horrible allergies so I started off with hamsters for pets. Unfortunately for my parents, I wasn't about to let allergies stand in the way of my love for dogs and cats, which resulted in lots of allergy and asthma attacks! Fortunately though, this helped to build up my immune system. If that's not love, I don't know what is?!? I've owned dogs for over half my life and couldn't imagine life without them. I currently have a seven year old Mini Rat Terrier that I rescued five years ago named Domino. I call him the "Sun of My Universe" because he brings light to my life and my world revolves around him! And, in my world, the words "just-a-dog" are sacrilegious! I've also owned several different breeds of dogs from small terriers to large pitties. I've been working with animals professionally for the last several years and honestly could never see myself in a different line of work. I'm blessed to be able to say that I do what I love and love what I do! My experience administering medication I'm very comfortable administering medication whereas I have several years experience. I'm able to administer both liquids and solids orally. I'm also trained in intravenous injections and subdermal fluids. In addition, I'm very creative and patient! Anyone with a finicky fur baby knows this is a plus!

Our dog Wes was in excellent hands with Sarah! It was clear from our first phone call she would be a great caretaker for Wes. We loves the photos and videos she sent and could tell Wes had had a good time when we came back from our trip. Plus our house was left in pristine condition. We will definitely use Sarah again in the future.

Sarah is knowledgeable about dogs and was wonderful with our Baloo. Her personality won over our people-cautions dog right away. He had a great day and Sarah was wonderful with our out of ordinary schedule. Anyone we know in or going to the Boston area will get Sarah's info! She is amazing!

Information Sarah C. would like to know about your pet

Prior to sitting your dog, there are several factors that need to be addressed. I feel this can best be done at a sit down meet and greet. That way you can be absolutely positive that your babies are receiving the highest level of care specific to their needs. During my time working professionally with animals I've had the opportunity to work with dogs as small as two pounds, all the way up to one hundred and fifty! That being said, I definitely have no breed preference.
