Pet care experience
For the last 7 years I have helped care for and our family dog Ted. Ted is a shepherd mix, rescue who came to us with a lot of fear and anxiety. So, I have a special place in my heart for working with animals thst might be hesitant with new folks or struggle with separation anxiety. I have also lived in a home with 4 cats and 2 huskies for the last 2 years. I often pet sit when the owners go on vacation. I have become very comfortable caring for multiple animals at once and pets with lots of energy.

I am happy to take dogs for walks, go to dog parks, or supervise/participate in pet playtime in the house or yard. I know the importance of getting the animals out and moving. I am able to complete the other usual tasks involved in pet ownership: brushing/bathing, feeding, poop pickup/litter box emptying, etc. I have cared for animals at all stages of life and of a variety of shapes and sizes. Each gets treated with the same love and attention thst I give my family dog and is cared for according to your directions and discretion

I love to balance play time and tending to the pets' social and emotional needs. For play and exercise, my favorite thing to do is taking dogs for walks and letting them explore and sniff. I tend to follow exercise with lots of pets and cuddles, to help the animal wind down.
