Pet care experience
Like many here, furry family members have perpetually been in my life. Additionally, I have extensive experience with pets outside of my home. I recently left my career of 5yrs managing a high capacity pet boarding facility to return to college. My first job was caretaker at a private animal rescue and have volunteered at many others. I gained experience with a myriad of creatures including: dogs, cats, small creatures, horses, and even a pet pig. Between those jobs, I would regularly petsit as well. Working with animals on both a large and small scale has given me experience in handling skittish pets, senior pets, emergency situations, medication administration, and more. Animals have always been a passion of mine, and I hope to meet some of your fur family members!

Sarah was fantastic with our doggie girls. They are typically slow to warm up but she connected with them so quickly. She also took great pictures, left us a written daily report and cleaned up after herself. What a pleasure!
Sarah was so amazing to work with! She went above and beyond to take care of my two doggies. We had to take a short notice trip and she responded quickly and was willing to work with us on what times worked best for us. She took them out multiple times and feed them. I would recommend her to anyone! Thank you!!
Sarah is amazing! She was so kind and took great care of our two girls Molly and Casey. She gave us great updates and was just overall wonderful. She even gave us Easter portraits of the girls which still have us smiling. Amazing job with our girls and our house! Thanks Sarah!!! She left us a detailed list of all their feedings and when over and above to make sure all was good. What’s more I think the girls really enjoyed themselves.
We are so thankful for Sarah's care for our dog and for her kindness and consideration for us. We couldn't be more pleased.

I live near many parks, trails, and have a dog park in my neighborhood. Hiking is a hobby of mine, and I would gladly take your fur family member on an adventure with me. Safety is a priority for me, so the method of securing and leashing your pet will be discussed on a case by case basis. For example, I will ensure that a loose collar is adjusted, harness is fitted, and/or skittish pets have a backup system.

I have experience with all of these, but need time to curate what services will be best for your pup. If you have additional housesitting requirements such as plant watering/caged pets/time sensitive tasks, please be sure to include that in your request.
A typical day
Aside from times during my class/clinic schedule, you pet’s typical day can be fully customizable. A standard day can include hikes, food puzzles, toy time, et cetera.

I am a pre-med student taking a semester off of school. At the moment, I am working at a clinic 1-5 on the weekdays, and I may be unavailable most of the daytime on certain Thursdays (depending on the week).
